The New Economy Leaders Academy kicked off last month, welcoming our first inspiring cohort of thirty people working to bring new economic thinking and ideas to life.
Participants come from all across Europe and beyond including; Denmark, Aotearoa New Zealand, Spain, Morocco, the US, Switzerland, Czech Republic, the UK, Belgium, Germany, Finland and Italy.
The organisations they represent include: Demos Helsinki, Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP), Dark Matter Labs, Social Market Foundation, Tax Justice UK, Green Economy Coalition, Economic Change Unit, ZOE Institute for Future-fit Economies, The B Team, Global Changemakers, Rethinking Economics, Research & Degrowth International, Positive Money, Central European Labour Studies Institute (CELSI), NELA Next Economy Lab.
We can’t wait to learn together over the next ten months; build a dynamic community and have fruitful and creative conversations about the new economy field where we believe a real transformation i.e. a systems change approach to the issue is so urgently needed.
