Network for Pluralist Economics

2022 - 2025

The Network for Pluralist Economics (Netzwerk Plurale Ökonomik e.V.), with its 35 university groups and 700 members in the German-speaking countries, is part of the international curriculum change movement that strives for a fundamental shift in economic education, research, policy advice, and public discourse. By strengthening innovative, interdisciplinary, and critical approaches in economics, it provides answers to the complex challenges of the present and supports the institutionalization of a new economic paradigm. As an international non-profit, the Network operates the e-learning platform Exploring Economics, offers university courses through its Certificate Project, organizes annual summer academies, and influences policy through its public relations.

With renewed P4NE support, Netzwerk Plurale Ökonomik is working to bring new economic thinking to the forefront of economics and public discourse in Germany and beyond. It aims to help establish a new economic paradigm in economic science and economic policy that will drive the transformation to an ecologically and socially sustainable economic system.
