NEF’s long term ambition is to transform the economy so it works for people and the planet. NEF works with people igniting change from below and combine this with rigorous research to fight for change at the top.
This grant supports NEF’s ambition to build the power necessary to make the Green New Deal a popular policy package that is essential to any party winning in the UK general election.
It supports NEF’s work to deliver a research and mobilisation programme that makes policies to tackle the climate, nature and inequality crises central to UK government.
The final aim is for the UK to be committed to implementing a specific set of policies that will move the economic model towards sustainability and fairness, with a powerful coalition of politicians, civil society and ordinary people ready to hold them to account.
