Culture Hack Labs
November 2021 - February 2023
Culture Hack Labs supports organizations, social movements and activists to create cultural interventions for systems change. Its mission is to change the cultural narratives that create and justify ecological breakdown, extraction, racialized hierarchies, patriarchy, inequality and poverty.
This grant supports the development of the Culture Hack Lab’s Fellowship, Rhizome. The fellowship is a 12 month program to train and connect narrative practitioners with an emphasis on structural and cultural analysis. The goal of the fellowship is to help to create new cultural contexts to actively promote economic alternatives based on shared values like interdependence, empathy, cooperation, equity consciousness, post-growth logic and solidarity.
Grant Awarded: $150,000
