We are adaptive

We are intentional and clear on where we want to get to, but agile and open to shifting our approach to how we get there. We adapt in response to a complex and changing context, learning, and iterating as we go.

We act collaboratively

As a partnership of funders we recognise our interdependence with each other and the wider web of organisations and people we work alongside. We nurture connection and reciprocity by building collective awareness, coordinating and collaborating, and growing the capacity of others to work in these ways.

We think systemically

We see the bigger picture, understanding that deep systemic change requires us to embrace a plurality of approaches. We recognise we are one part of a wide movement of change, and leverage our position to spot patterns and support interactions and actions that impact whole systems.

We seek transformative justice

We support work that addresses the root causes of injustice for people and the rest of nature. We explore how we can do more to actively practice transformative justice as a funder collaborative and work in solidarity with people who experience the consequences of extractive systems.

We find optimism

We believe in our collective ability to redesign our economies; people designed our current systems, so we can transform and regenerate them. We are inspired by the thousands of people building better economies who show us how these alternatives are not just desirable, but entirely possible.
